Noriko Nakamura is a Japanese-born artist based in Melbourne. She believes that spirits in animals and inanimate objects are a natural part of ordinary life. This interest in Shinto, other primitive religions and her personal experience influences installation works that utilize various media. They include organic materials, domestic objects and DIY items.
