SPACE B
POINTS OF ADVANTAGE
NINA GILBERT

The framing and re-framing of quotidian subject matter in Points of Advantage by Nina Gilbert attempts to capture something of the subtle shifts in perspective as we traverse spaces of the everyday. The exhibition focuses on the lack in both human and/or technological recollection and re-presentation of shifts in human perception between that which is seen or that which one comes to recognise. Is there ever a true vantage point where one can comprehend a whole? In the layered imagery lines of sight become abbreviated or expanded, one distance instantly lost presents another distance gained.
