In this video installation Corby continues her investigation of liminal states.
Observing a ships’ reflection in water inspires Corby’s memory of a poem.
The audio is her voice interpretation of the Robert Louis Stevenson 1855 children’s poem My Ship And I.
Corby has recently been described as a pioneer digital artist in Darren Tofts book Interzone: Media Arts in Australia. Along with awards from the Australian Film Commission and Australia Council, she has also received a 1999 Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM) AWARD for her CD-ROM, Girls Own Girl Zone Interactive (GOGZI).
