In Daydreams are Lonely the artist looks into herself and embraces an ongoing struggle between movement and stillness, impermanence and death and the vulnerability in remaining reflective of personal catastrophe.
The result is a conflicted soul caught in an unsettling stillness in the present, haunted by outlines of the past.
The works are meditations in camera of grief, loss and uncertainty but with a conscious eye looking towards the future.
