Sneaky Habitance
Nicola Page
A unifying theme across the work is in native and cultivated landscapes and the resulting evolution of a space. Sneaky Habitance looks at identified areas of regenerated localised native flora in urban areas of Melbourne. These once evicted inhabitants are the basis of an exploration into organic form, movement and life amidst the in-between. Nature abhors a vacuum, between presence and absence there is a continuous kneading out of space for growth in fulfilling a niche.
