At least one third of our lives is spent in bed. It is the site for birth, death, sex, dreams, rest, insomnia, nightmares, thought, conversation, infirmary, intimacy and peace.
Bernadette Keys video installation is both an ironic take on the tradition of the reclining nude (Odalisque) in art and a commentary on the impact of screen technology in the 21st century.
