Drawing on the gallery’s interest in collaborative-based processes, c3 Projects presents a new collaborative project by Sarah crowEST and Benjamin Woods.
Working together for the first time, Sarah and Benjamin created an installation of grouped objects tending towards gold, for the Melbourne Art Fair Project Rooms held during August at the Exhibition Building.
Reconfigured to show within the gallery, a raised timber platform displayed an array of sculptures, vessels and implements in various stages of making and unmaking. The walls subtly marked with ghostly traces of the process of making the work and various slight, almost imperceptible sculptural interventions.
This project was presented at the 2014 Melbourne Art Fair as one of the curated Project Rooms and was supported by the Melbourne Art Foundation.
