TIDE

A tide occurs due to the effects of gravitational forces from the moon, sun and earth. Astrology is the system of divination based on the premise that there is a relationship between the position of the sun, moon and planets and their effect on an individuals life path. Divination “to foresee, to be inspired by god” is the practice of gaining insight into a question or situation by way of an occultic, standardised process or ritual. It is an interpretation of signs, events or omens via contact with a supernatural agency. The querant will then explain disjointed, random facts of existence to provide insight and lessons that are being learnt at the time. The story of King Canute and the waves from the 12th Century states that the King used the tide as his example of his power to control versus the power of God. The moral of the story is that there is no point in stopping that which is destined to be – like the movement of the planets and their effect on the tides, earth and an individual’s life past destiny. Things occur in life that should and would, regardless.
