The Vorticist has been described as a quack, quark, bullshit artist, shit magician, and surveyor of parallel dimensions. Maling would describe himself as a live artist who seeks the infinite in the everyday. This sprawling project traces collisions of meaning through an extending network of one on one exchanges – sort of sideshow palm reader meets conceptual minimalist. Having spent the last year negotiating with a variety of strangers, we now have the voyeuristic pleasure of analysing a selection of the notes and drawings from the Vorticist’s unique appointments.
