GRACE ANDERSON

Grace Anderson’s most recent body of work meanders around the flux and impermanence suggested in its title. It comes together through an accumulation of stuff that seeks to indulge in both a visceral and physical approach to image and material. Bulky sculpture, gluttonous amounts of paint and things suffocated by plaster act as a soapbox for escapism; wandering around a mysterious narrative that’s built upon cartoonish and simple abstractions of everyday visual tropes.
