UNSTABLE OBJECTS AND OTHER PAINTINGS

Unstable Objects and other Paintings is a solo exhibition featuring a combination of recent and previous work by Melbourne abstract artist, Antonia Sellbach. The exhibition explores the material relationships and tenuous underlying structures of surface, partition and relief through a series of paintings and wall installations. Sellbach’s recent work explores an almost Tudor like geometry, revealing the reciprocal tensions between the façade and the internal structure and the optical flicker of 2D and 3D cognitive shifts.
