AD / ON / UP
As part of the c3 project series, ad / on / up presents 7 anonymous artists working within a semi-controlled environment.
The idea behind the collaboration comes from the Chinese whisper game played by children, with a bit of a wink towards the exquisite corpse works of the Dadaists.
Each artist has one day to work within the gallery space, one after another. There is no restriction to material, form or concept, only that the artist uses their own specific practice to respond/react to the gallery space and the work set up the previous day by one of the other artists. Anonymity ensures free play and possible departures from expected outcomes.
