Wet Nurse (Residue)
110% Collective
110% present audiovisual documentation and material residues from their latest project, Wet Nurse, developed during the first iteration of c3’s performance residency in December 2019. Wet Nurse transformed the gallery into a humid and heaving environment alive with the musk of yeast, the sensual mingling of dough, flesh and fluids and a lush, grinding soundscape created by Enderie. This ongoing project explores choreographies of caregiving through interspecies collaboration, creating intimate contact zones between fermentative microorganisms, and the bodies of artists and audiences. Within this caregiving relation, 110% inhabit the roles of worker, sculptor, lover, nurse and mother.
